Pumpkins and City Slickers

It's not officially fall until we have taken our trip to the pumpkin patch. Last year,
Hubby and I went alone so we were overjoyed to take Miss S along with us this year.
She was home from Auburn for Fall Break, and the pumpkin patch seemed like
the perfect fun family activity.

Once again Old Baker Farm did not disappoint.

Before we hopped on the hayride, we visited the farm animals. Miss S and Hubby quickly
made some adorable new friends...

The goats absolutely loved getting their head and ears scratched!

After petting the animals, we checked out this year's giant pumpkin...

And I was not leaving without getting a picture of the beautiful sunflowers, ha.

I wanted to get a picture with Hubby near the cotton fields, and as usual, it took a minute
to get him on the same page with where I wanted to pose...

But it was worth the effort because I love how our picture turned out!

Next up....

time for the hayride into the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins.

We love spending time with our little pumpkin, and she will always be our sunshine
no matter how grown up she gets!

After all this fun on the farm, we were all ready to head home for a shower, ha ha.

After spending a little time outside in the heat, and on the farm, my "city girl" starts to
show a bit, and I am ready for a shower and some clean clothes!

We had a lot of fun spending the afternoon together exploring farm life and choosing the
perfect pumpkin.

Do YOU like to go to the pumpkin patch? What is YOUR favorite activity to do in
the fall?

Have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you on Monday!
