Weekends and Parades!

Y'all! It is absolutely pouring down rain outside today. I mean hours and hours
of hard rain has been falling. So unfortunate for all the kids that are out of school
today and stuck inside because of this monsoon. Poor Hunter isn't particularly
happy about the rain either.

Thankfully, our weekend was actually rain free. Let's take a look...

Our Friday night was a snuggly and cozy Netflix night.

We had a toasty warm fire going in the fireplace, and our current binge-worthy show
on the TV. We have been working our way through NCIS on Netflix for several
months now.

(I couldn't resist adding a small Christmas tree to our family room! I am SO ready to
put up our big tree. That will be happening on in 6 days when Miss S gets home for
Thanksgiving Break. Eeee!)

On Saturday, my parents came to town so we could go tour the Fall Parade of Homes.
Let me share with you some of my favorite things I saw from the parade.

I love the white and bright cabinets and oversize island in this kitchen:

And it doesn't get more farmhouse fresh than these bathroom floors!

The chippy white theme continued in several more homes too. In this light fixture...

and also on this bathroom mirror...

Another gorgeous trend is wood ceilings...

Here is the family room in what was probably my favorite of all the homes we saw...

I love the floors, the beams, and the shiplap. This room just feels like home to me.

This same house also had something I had never seem before. They called it a
"hidden pantry" and it was A M A Z I N G !

As you stood in the kitchen, these doors blended right in with the regular kitchen
cabinets. If there had not been a sign here, we would never have even opened them.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but once you opened the cabinet doors, an entire
other room became accessible. So cool, and such an amazing idea.  #PantryGoals

Maybe one day I can have a hidden pantry of my own!

On Sunday afternoon, I had to attend a staff meeting at work.
As I was driving home, this was my view...

Aren't the clouds lovely?

Sunday night, a new video also went up on my YouTube channel. You can
watch here.

I would LOVE and appreciate it if anyone that enjoys my channel but has not subscribed
would go ahead and do that. My goal is to reach 300 subscribers by the end of the year.
Please help a small youtuber out by clicking that subscribe button! :)

Have a wonderful week, and I will see you on YouTube on Wednesday, and back here
on Friday.

(I'm linking up here today too.)
