Colors, Games, and Summer Reading

Friday started off just like every other day of the week for these two. Tug of war is
their game of choice, closely followed by chase. Roo has the advantage when they
play chase because he can easily scoot under tables and chairs to get away!

There is something so sweet about an 85 pound lab and a 9 pound miniature dachshund
being best friends. They make my heart happy on a daily basis!

Miss S and her future roomie have chosen colors and started planning for the
common areas of their apartment. This is the shower curtain they will be using
in their bathroom.

On Friday afternoon, while browsing at Target, we picked out this pillow in the
same colors for their couch.

I love that these colors are warm and cozy while still being mostly neutral.

Here is the floor plan of their 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment for next year...

On Saturday, Miss S went to a birthday party celebrating her sweet friend's 19th
birthday. I'm still not sure how all of her precious friends are now 19 years old. Where
did the years go???

On Sunday we did our usual routine -

lunch with Mother-In-Law

As far as my summer reading goes...

I finished the fiction book I was reading called The Summerhouse.

So this is what I am now currently reading...

I'm not particularly great at summarizing books, but I did enjoy The Summerhouse
and I'm enjoying All Summer Long as well.

I guess that's about all that's going on around here lately.

How was your weekend?

Any great summer books I need to read?

Anyone else wishing they were here right now?

Have a fabulous day!

Linking up here today...
