Freshman Year At A Glance

Miss S will wrap up exams today, and will move out and head home tomorrow, so
the 2017-2018 school year is almost officially a wrap.

Today I want to give myself a BIG high-five for surviving the year with my
favorite girl in the world away at college.

Let's take a look back at where we began in August of 2017...

Her dorm room...

Bid Day...

The 1st of many picnics on Samford Lawn...

Football season...

A hometown friend that visited for game day...

The time Hubby and I went to visit on game day...

Miss S officially got a BIG sister...

We felt complete again every time our girl came home for a weekend...

Her high school friends were there when she got all dressed up for her 1st sorority formal...

Hubby and I went to congratulate our girl when she officially became an AGD...

She modeled jewelry when her sorority sister started an online jewelry biz...

She and her roomie went to Tuscaloosa to visit their UA bestie...

More game days on The Plains...

We had our "baby" home for Thanksgiving...

She went to her very first Iron Bowl...

Classes were cancelled when Auburn had a snow day...

She found fun new places to pose for pictures...

And was home to pose for a picture on my Valentine birthday...

and one more after a quick wardrobe change...

Baseball season was a hit, and her fear of mascots was overcome...

I got to meet more amazing college friends when we went to Destin, Fl. for Spring Break...

Then my girl turned 19. What?!?

She sat in the President's suite at the A-day game...

Her sorority took some pictures in preparation for next year...

Her sorority hosted a beautiful Mother Daughter Brunch...

Overall, we had a wonderful year. I can hardly believe my girl is about the be a
college sophomore. Let's not think about that right now though! I just want to
enjoy our summer!

Thanks for visiting today and I'll see you on Friday!
