How We Wednesday...Plans For 2018

A new year means new goals, new resolutions, and new link ups. Today I am joining
Erika and Shay for "How We Wednesday!"

Today's topic of discussion is goals and resolutions.

Every year I set goals and make resolutions for the new year. 9.9 times out of 10,
those goals and resolutions are nearly forgotten even before the end of January
rolls around.

This year, I am taking a different approach!

Let's take a look...

This year before any goals or resolutions are made, I am taking a look at my
priorities. My priorities have always been family and home, no question. This
year however, I want to add a focus on making a few more things a priority as

My priorities for 2018 will be:







As I take a closer look at these, I realize they kind of all work together. Let me explain.
By growing my faith, it will effect other areas of my life.... home, family, health, etc.
By focusing on improving my health, it will also effect my home, family, hobbies, etc.
When I think about how each priority affects the others, I can see the importance of not
dropping the ball on any one of them.

Now that I have my priorities established, I can focus on goals for each one.

pray more
worship more


 be fully present when we are all together
 take more family pictures
find & make yummy gluten free recipes for Miss S


develop a better cleaning routine 
meal plan


move everyday
strength train 3 times a week
yoga 2 times a week
try a new healthy recipe every week
stop stressing over the small stuff
practice gratitude daily


grow blog and YouTube channel
improve blog and YouTube channel (quality and content)


focus more on taking care of me
consistently USE the beauty products I buy
exercise, yoga, prayer, gratitude, healthier eating

I also want to focus on setting goals for each month. Resolutions are not a "one
and done" kind of thing.

I would love to create a community of like-minded friends to work on our goals
together. My thought was to ask you to comment here, or either over on A Kristian
Lifestyle facebook page about your goals and plans for 2018. I plan to be more active
on this page this year, so please drop by and give the page a "like."

I will read through all of them, and will then create challenges that we can work
on together all year long. I think this would be so much fun! Be sure to comment

  2. These are all great things to focus on this year. I want to try taking more pictures this year too. I used to do it all the time, but now I tend to just use my phone for photos, I don't really think about it as much...which is weird since I have my phone with me all the time! LOL I also want to be more active and try new recipes to help mix it up.
