Tasty Tuesday - Pumpkin Spice French Toast

This recipe is more of a tasty breakfast idea than an actual recipe. Most of you
are probably familiar with how to make french toast, but I want to share with
you today how to put a fun fall spin on a regular simple breakfast idea.

First I gathered my ingredients of choice, then added 1 egg and about a 1/4 cup of
milk to the rectangular tupperware shown below.  I mixed together the egg/milk
mixture then added cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, and allspice. You can
add as much or as little as you like, and even omit a spice if you are not a fan.

Next, I added two slices of Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Spice bread into the
egg/milk/spice mixture.

Let bread soak for about a minute to absorb the liquids and spices, Then carefully
flip bread slices over so they can soak on both sides.

Once bread is nicely coated and has softened a bit, you are ready to add the bread
slices to your warm pan on the stove. I sprayed my cooking pan with a cooking spray
first so that my break would not stick. I also added another sprinkling of cinnamon
and pumpkin pie spice to my bread as it was cooking.

Be sure to flip your bread over so that both sides get nice and golden brown.

Once you are done toasting the bread on both sides, add your favorite syrup
(or topping of your choosing) and enjoy!

Your kitchen will smell delicious afterwards too!

I hope you enjoyed this fun fall spin on a breakfast classic.

You know my motto...

Happy Pumpkin Spice Everything!
